In this privacy statement we explain how Gifted Media handles the personal data processed via https://www.giftedmedia.nl. We value your privacy and handle your data carefully and confidentially, fully in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement was last updated on the date shown at the top.

1. Which personal data we process

1.1 Gifted Media processes personal data of visitors and clients of https://www.giftedmedia.nl because they use our services and/or because they provide this data to us themselves.

1.2 Depending on how you use https://www.giftedmedia.nl, we may process the following data: first and last name, contact details such as email address and phone number, address details, data you enter in the contact form, and technical data such as your IP address and browsing behaviour.

1.3 We do not process more data than necessary for the purposes described below (data minimisation).

2. Purposes and legal grounds

2.1 Gifted Media processes your personal data for the following purposes: handling your question or assignment, performing a contract, sending requested information, and improving our website and services.

2.2 We only process data on a valid legal ground under the GDPR: the performance of a contract, a legal obligation, your consent, or our legitimate interest after a careful balancing of interests.

2.3 If you provide data based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

3. Sharing with third parties and processors

3.1 Gifted Media does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary to perform our contract with you or to meet a legal obligation.

3.2 With parties that process your data on our behalf (such as our hosting provider and email provider) we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.

3.3 Gifted Media remains responsible for these processing operations.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

4.1 https://www.giftedmedia.nl uses functional and analytical cookies. Functional cookies are necessary for the website to work and are placed without consent.

4.2 We ask for your consent in advance before placing tracking or marketing cookies, in accordance with article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act.

4.3 You can manage or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings.

5. How long we keep data

5.1 Gifted Media keeps your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected.

5.2 For data with a tax or administrative retention obligation, we apply the statutory period of seven years.

5.3 Data you provided based on consent is kept until you withdraw that consent or no longer than necessary for the purpose.

6. How we protect your data

6.1 Gifted Media takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and unwanted disclosure.

6.2 Our website uses a secure connection (TLS/SSL) and access to data is limited to authorised persons.

6.3 If you feel your data is not properly protected or there are signs of misuse, please contact us at info@giftedmedia.nl.

7. Your rights (access, correction, deletion)

7.1 You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing, the right to restriction of processing and the right to data portability.

7.2 You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer to info@giftedmedia.nl. Gifted Media responds as soon as possible, and within four weeks at the latest.

7.3 To make sure the request was made by you, we may ask you for additional identification.

9. Social media and external content

9.1 https://www.giftedmedia.nl may contain buttons or embedded content (such as videos or social media posts) from third parties. These parties may place cookies through their code.

9.2 We have no influence on what these parties do with the data collected through their services. Read their privacy statement for more information.

9.3 The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. For this, Cloudflare processes technical data from your browser and your IP address, only on pages with a form. We do this based on our legitimate interest in protecting the form.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

10.1 Gifted Media reserves the right to change this privacy policy. Changes are published on https://www.giftedmedia.nl.

10.2 We recommend that you consult this privacy policy regularly, so you are aware of the most recent version.
